Charles F. (Charles Karl F.) Bansemer (fl. 1839-1866) was a native of Prussia, who came to the United States sometimes before 1939. He was educated at Theological Seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of South Carolina and Adjacent States at Lexington, S.C., 1839-1841, under Ernest L. (Ernest Lewis) Hazelius (1773-1853). Thereafter he served as a licentiate in McPersonville and Brailsfordville, S.C., 1841-1842, and entered the ministry, February 1842. He served at various places in the Beau...
